Staff Update – Congratulating David Peck
We are congratulating David Peck on being called as the next senior pastor of the historic Waverly Place Baptist Church, and thanking him for years of faithful service with us.
David was one of our first interns, and he also served as our office administrator. He has consistently done strong work for us as a pastoral counseling fellow while pursuing studies at our program with the MTS Pastoral Counseling degree at BRITE.
Although we’re sad to see him transition from counseling with us, we’re grateful to see his gifts and calling affirmed in this way. We are glad to have him still serving locally, and look to continue our partnership in new ways, as our mission remains to strengthen the care ministries of local churches. For us, to see one of our interns develop into a strong staff member, who then steps more decidedly into church ministry, represents a fulfillment our mission for which we give thanks.
