I really believe in Christian Counseling. It changed my life!
The thing that was really meaningful for me is that my counselor helped me connect with a living relationship with Jesus Christ. It was not a program or mind-games. It is the Holy Spirit who changes us.
So as I counsel people, I help people to connect with Jesus in meaningful ways that are relevant for today, not just for salvation, but for how we live today. I want to help people walk with Jesus, so that they know he is truly their refuge, their safe place, their safe person, their ever-present help in trouble. That’s what I long for people to know: That Christ is with them every day, and for what difference that makes in their life.
