Ariana Vinson
Resident Counselor
Ariana grew up in Southern California, but has lived and called Southwest Virginia home for the past nine years. She obtained a Master’s Degree in social work at Radford University and is currently pursuing licensure in clinical social work.
She has experience working with families, adults, adolescents, and children. Her heart is for working with those impacted by trauma, adversity, depression, anxiety, and domestic violence. She believes every person was born in the image of God with inherent dignity, and true healing and hope for redemption are found in Christ alone. Her reason for coming into this profession was to come alongside those who are hurting and offer support and encouragement in the midst of a fallen world.
Her background also includes school-based counseling with young children and adolescents. She loves creating warm, engaging environments for young clients to feel safe and build tools for managing stress, life transitions, and difficult family dynamics.
Ariana is newly married and loves to read, drink tea, spend time with friends and family, and play board games with her husband. She loves listening, being a shoulder to cry on, and sharing the immeasurable hope that is found in Christ.
