Licensed Professional Counselor

Eric was born and raised in the Roanoke Valley. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biblical Studied from Liberty University in 2002. Ever since this time he has been actively involved in ministry in the local church working with families, young adults, youth, and children.

He spent 11 years on staff as an associate pastor. As God opened more doors of ministry, Eric worked at a private day school in Roanoke helping children with emotional disorders (grades K -12) for just under two years. It was at conclusion of this time God opened another door and Eric began serving (Fall of 2013 – current) at Roanoke Valley Christian Schools (RVCS) as their Director of Recruitment and Advancement. Just before joining RVCS, Eric also started an 11year tenure at a Christian counseling practice from 2012 to 2023.

Eric believes all these experiences have helped him grow in his effectiveness in providing healing through God’s grace to a variety of age groups, especially the younger generation over the last 21 years. Eric has a heart for helping people grow in maturity during difficult seasons of life to be overcomers through God’s grace. His main areas of client attention include but not limited to youth, marriage and family, anxiety, depression, and personal growth.

Eric is married with five children and has hosted one international student since 2022. He loves spending time with his family, being involved in his church, camping, and going to sporting events. He currently serves as a deacon in his home church teaching Sunday school class and providing pastoral care to those in need. He has held his ministerial license since 2002 and his License in Professional Counseling since 2017 in the Commonwealth of Virginian. He loves to laugh and you can almost always find a smile on his face.
