Kim Gibson
Biblical Counselor
Kim grew up in Ferrum VA and moved back to Franklin County with her husband, Jacob, after graduating from Virginia Tech in 2004. Several years later, they relocated to Roanoke while Kim pursued a Master of Science in Counseling at Radford University. During her time at Radford University, she provided counseling services to students struggling with depression, anxiety, relationships, and other challenges. After graduating in 2009, she served as a school counselor with Roanoke City Public Schools where she worked closely with high school students on a wide range of issues including depression, stress, and behavioral difficulties. Kim’s counseling interests include depression, anxiety, burnout, and grief.
Kim currently lives in Roanoke with her husband and two young sons. She loves to walk her dog, play board games, and attend her sons’ sporting events. She enjoys volunteering at Roanoke Valley Christian Schools, where both of her sons attend school. When she has some quiet time, she loves reading and diamond painting. Kim is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Blue Ridge Christian Counseling.
