Assessing Pastoral Health

May 13, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

This workshop provides strategies to maintain health and prevent burnout for pastors, missionaries, and their families.

Workshop Description

Pastors are often called to care for the flock, but who will care for the shepherds themselves? The pressures of ministry can be overwhelming, and pastors often face personal crises in isolation, without the support they need. Biblical counselors, who are in a unique position to work alongside pastors, can offer critical care during times of crisis.

This workshop will explore how biblical counselors can engage with pastors, offering a safe and non-threatening environment for emotional and spiritual support. We will address the peculiar stressors of pastoral ministry, tools for self-assessment, and strategies for providing long-term care. By normalizing the practice of seeking help, we aim to empower pastors to prioritize their own well-being without shame or guilt.
