Ritter has lived in Virginia his entire life and is eager to serve his community in a new way. He graduated from Regent University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Biblical Studies. He is currently working towards his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Liberty University and is a member of the Omega Nu Lambda Honors Society. In addition, Ritter has served as a student leader for Virginia Western Community College’s “See You at the Pole” prayer club and serves as both an Assistant Youth Ministry Leader and Assistant Young Adult CityGroup Leader at CityLight Church of Roanoke.

One of Ritter’s main goals as an aspiring counselor is to create a warm and welcoming space for you. His upbeat energy and desire to watch you grow will help you feel relaxed and welcomed. He wants you to see that, while life can be incredibly difficult at times, it is a special gift from God. He hopes that you will remember this truth as he works through your hardships with you. He is excited to strengthen his skills and is committed to offering the best services he can.

Outside of work and school, Ritter enjoys playing games, spending time with his friends, talking about how amazing his dog is, and maintaining his relationship with Christ.

Once he is done with his Master’s program, Ritter hopes to focus on areas such as pre-marital counseling, relationship issues, marital conflict, and spiritual discipline development.
