
Michael Gembola
Executive Director
Michael is originally from South Carolina, and before moving to Virginia he served as a licensed professional counselor at CCEF in Pennsylvania and on church staff as Director of Congregational Care and Discipleship. He is an ordained minister (PCA).
He holds masters degrees from Westminster Seminary in Counseling (MAC) and in Biblical Studies (MAR), and Certificates in Professional Counseling and Global Trauma Recovery from the Missio Graduate School of Counseling. He has taught courses at BRITE, Westminster Seminary, Missio Seminary, Heritage Seminary, Santiago Seminary, and at CCEF. He is the author of After an Affair: Pursuing Restoration and several articles, and he serves as consulting editor for the Journal of Biblical Counseling
He and his wife Kelly live in Roanoke with their two sons and daughter.
His areas of focus include marriage, anxiety (especially OCD), and ministry leader issues. He serves at our Roanoke and Christiansburg offices.
