Certified Family Life Educator
Dreama is originally from Rocky Mount, Virginia and is currently completing a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, Indiana. She has served in our Roanoke and Christiansburg offices since September of 2018 and completed her internship and supervised counseling at BRCC as well.
For over fourteen years Dreama worked in the Human Development and Family Studies Department at Purdue University. Other former teaching and education positions focused on supporting the healthy development of children and families across the life-span. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Wheaton College, a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University and is a Certified Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations. She also holds teacher certifications in elementary education and early childhood education.
Dreama moved back to Virginia in 2015 to help with caregiving for her elderly parents but still enjoys spending time with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter in Indiana whenever possible.
Through biblical counseling, Dreama experienced first-hand God’s transformation during difficult times of her life and she desires to share God’s love and grace to others in this way. She provides both individual and couples counseling to adults of all ages and also works with teens.
Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, OCD and scrupulosity, premarital counseling and relationship issues, child abuse prevention, aging and caregiving, grief counseling, and parenting and family issues.
