What We Do
BRCC offers counseling (pastoral, lay, or professional) for individuals and couples, consultations for pastors and churches, and training for people interested in church-based care. Our care is driven by a pastoral concern, but we abide by the highest ethical standards. All of us at BRCC seek to be rigorous both in our study of the Christian faith and in our study of people. We want to have God’s heart for people–His patience, love, and firm hope, and to let this heart drive all we do.
Our focus is on the Roanoke Valley and the New River Valley (our offices are in Cave Spring and in Christiansburg), but we also serve people in areas where they have less access to care (e.g., missionaries overseas and church leaders in rural contexts).
Our training comes in the form of seminars, guest preaching, and formal courses through the Blue Ridge Institute for Theological Education (BRITE).
